🧭 My Approach
How I Think About UX
For me, UX design is about understanding people in context and making informed decisions under real constraints. I see UX as a way to create clarity in complexity.
How I Work
I do not follow a fixed UX framework. Instead, I adapt my process based on project scope, timelines, and access to users. My focus is always on identifying the core problem and choosing methods that provide the most meaningful insight.
Clarity over complexity
Understanding over feature richness.
Research before assumptions
Assumptions are hypotheses to validate.
Accessibility is usability
Inclusive design is fundamental UX.
Iteration over perfection
Test early, don't design in isolation.
Using AI in my workflow
I use AI as a support tool to explore ideas, structure research insights, and challenge my own thinking. It helps me iterate faster in early phases, while design decisions remain grounded in UX principles, user needs, and real-world constraints.
UX, Product Thinking & Entrepreneurship
My interest in UX design is closely connected to product thinking and entrepreneurship. As a founder and project initiator, I am used to considering the full product context — including user needs, business goals, prioritisation, and long-term impact.
This perspective influences how I approach UX work, particularly when making trade-offs and defining what is essential versus what can be deferred.
Decision-making & Trade-offs
UX decisions are rarely made in ideal conditions. When trade-offs are necessary, I prioritise solving the core user problem over adding features or visual complexity.
"I treat assumptions as hypotheses and aim to validate the riskiest decisions early through research and testing."
Quality & Evaluation
I evaluate UX quality based on how well a solution supports user goals with minimal friction. Clear structure, accessibility, and usability are more important to me than visual polish alone.
Collaboration & Leadership
My leadership experience has shaped how I collaborate with others. I value clarity, shared understanding, and open communication, and I am comfortable facilitating discussions, aligning perspectives, and taking responsibility for decisions.
In team settings
I see my role as connecting user insights with practical design decisions across disciplines.
Problems I thrive on
I actively reflect on my work and continuously develop my skills through practice, feedback, and formal learning.
These principles are reflected across my case studies.
